Sol Confederacy has been a gaming community for nearly a decade, with roots dating back to the guild’s formation in Earth and Beyond.  Our guild history runs deep, and it is our goal to recreate previous successes in the upcoming MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic.

We are a casual, family-oriented group who enjoys all aspects of gaming.  You will not find strict class, gear or schedule requirements here.  We do not breeze through game content in order to achieve maximum level.  Our gaming focus is (in order of importance): PvE, questing, raiding, role play, PvP.

Above all else, Sol Confederacy is a family.  We are a small group of casual players who enjoy the lighter side of gaming.  We strive for camaraderie and personal growth through achievement, which betters the guild as a whole.  The ultimate goal is to progress through the game together and develop as a team.  We will work towards forming raiding parties at end game, as well as actively participate in community and server-wide events.

We support all styles of gameplay, from the weekend warrior to the role player.  You are free to pursue your own individual path and interests in the gaming universe.  We are not power gamers, whose only interest is obtaining color-coded gear.  While we are not progression-based, group hunts and active participation in questing and player advancement is encouraged, though you are welcome to move along at your own pace.

Honor, Loyalty, Family

These are the core values of Sol Confederacy.  Members often place guild needs above their own, and selflessly assist others whenever possible.  Our group has always been small, and that requires a dedication to each other the likes of which most gamers are sadly never able to experience.

We have a long history of working together both inside and outside of the gaming universe and have formed a lasting friendship, though none of us have met in “real life”.  Being a Confederate means a commitment to one another, which benefits the guild as a whole.

Recruiting

The ideal candidate will be a mature player (18+) who can commit to regular playtime, and actively participate in guild events and on our forum.  We do not adhere to a tight schedule, though we do like to have at least one Guild Hunt Night (GHN) per week.  We also like to organize non-combat related functions and activities.

Sol Confederacy is not for everyone.  This is a small, closely-knit group, and we are very selective.  While we do not exclude based on character class, level, or gear as many other guilds…it is very important that potential recruits mesh with our casual style of gameplay.

Leadership

The guild is led by the Council of Elders, who have over 50 years of combined online gaming experience.  It is the Council’s responsibility to uphold the traditions and values set forth in the Guild Charter and Code of Conduct, and that they are followed by all members.
