Talk to the expert weaponcrafter in Thorin's Hall Beasley he should have the level 37 weapons recipes if I remember. Also the expert woodworker in Esteldin. (Thorin's hall if you have the rep to get in ;) )
I'll have a look see at my list later when I get a chance.

i cant figure out why they made crafting such a pain in this game. no mail box where you craft. other than estilden, no access to vault where you craft. AH is not near the crafting hall. to make a high end spear you need to go to dwarf land and estilden just to make it. if you get dwarf faction to use their crafting area, there is no supplier down there.

are the makers just that dumb or did they really want to make crafting a pain?

they don't have a superior forge down in the dwarf special crafting area. so they still make you run all around thorins hall to make stuff.

Guilty, on both counts.

Crafting in general is a pain, in any MMO. Personally, I'm not a fan of the loot-based reward system, I much prefer the system of SWG and Eve that features a player-based economy. There's nothing that separates the item you just made from 10,000 others just like it.

swg wasnt to bad. you could set up factories and mining stations to get the stuff you needed. you could just go to your player city and use a better work area and it would be right next to your house which had a ton of storage room.

I've got some cheap black ash from the AH. I'm able to make. I'm able to make a spear and Javelin for Therodir (If Beasley hasn't beaten me to it yet.) And a small assortment of Instruments for Tanzanita.

Foolish me. Black Ash can be found in the first parts of the Misty Mountains. I thought they changed the wood spawns along with the ore but they didn't. This is a 39-42 area.
